Universal laws govern the way nature works. Unlike man-made rules, these provide a basis for one to reach their full potential. Look at a tree, it just knows how to grow.
Physical reality is the way the world is experienced.
Quantum physics states that material objects made up of atoms are not things but tendencies, possibilities in an infinite world (Dr. Asmit Goswami, filmed in What the Bleep Do We Know). Going beyond this physical reality touches the metaphysical which literally translated means that which is above the physical.
Relating to the Natural Environment
Metaphysics is concerned with how one relates to the natural environment co-creatively,that means living with nature, not controlling and manipulating it. Nature is full of intelligence and provides the framework for all the inhabitants of the earth."
Ten Universal Laws
The laws of the universe provides the code for living. Diana Cooper, author of A Little Light on the Spiritual Laws, writes, "If you drive on the roads without understanding the highway code you will have a confusing and difficult journey. When you learn and apply it your journey becomes safe and pleasant."
Universal Mind - There is an intelligence behind the growth of all living matter, that is unlimited with possibilities.
Cause and Effect - For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction of the same intensity and type as the original stimulus. What you put into your life you get back in direct proportion, so in self development it is beneficial to discover the cause behind the effect and treat the cause.
Self Actualization - This law holds the knowledge that each individual has the capacity within to reach their full potential.
Cosmic Sympathy - There is a natural inborn tendency to help in the preservation and growth of nature. Examples of this law are when parents care for their young, or dolphins assisting autistic children.
The Law of Equity - This is a law of fairness, judgment, order and justice. Misfortunes can turn out to be stepping stones to something greater, when one door closes another one opens
Law of Creativity - There is an energy that is always there, and by choice can be used destructively or creatively to make things beautiful and complete. This energy gives the individual the power of self expression and the opportunity to live creatively. This creative energy is constant, nothing is ever wasted, but conserved and improved upon.
Law of Attraction - This is the strongest force in the universe. It is symbolized by pairs of opposites; north and south, hot and cold, male and female, etc. Nature is always at work attracting benefits from inter-actions ensuring perpetual growth.
Law of Interdependence - Includes all of creation.Everyone is part of a whole. In working together there is a harmony amongst all relationships.
The Law of Regeneration - The cycles of nature demonstrate this law perfectly. When winter comes leaves wither and die and then in spring new growth is revived within the tree, bringing forward fresh blooms. In humans this is the inherited legacy of consciousness that has come from the lineage that in turn passes onto the children.
The Law of Perfection - This law implies that everybody is perfect as they are. The universal mind, which all are part of, is the infinite and perfect manifestation.
Nature provides the world with gifts and in using the laws of the universe growth happens in a beautiful way. As Pythagoras put it "nature is beautiful, and when you are in harmony with nature you are beautiful too."
